Fitness has health-related components and skill-related components. Health-related components include aerobic fitness, muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility, and body composition. Skill-related components include agility, balance, coordination, speed, power, and reaction time. Both sets of components interact and are interdependent. A deficiency in any component reduces overall fitness.
